Established in 1980, RedRing Solder is Malaysia’s pioneer in tin solder manufacturing for the electronics industry.

RedRing’s 3rd generation Pb-free Bio G solder is manufactured using the most environmentally-friendly methods possible with the incorporation of solar power via photo voltaic cells for smelting operations.

What makes RedRing Solder truly unique is the vertical integration of a tin mine and smelting with the Malaysian Smelting Corporation (MSC) and KOBA, which was established in 1887, and is the second largest tin smelter in the world, producing 45,000 metric tonnes per annum, making RedRing the only solder manufacturer in the world that produces its own tin.

For the past three decades, RedRing Solder has been developing and producing a wide range of solder products to meet the demands of the electronics industry. Today our lead-free solder products, under the trade name of G-SERIES, are synonymous with impeccable quality and conforms to international standards.
